Coffee and stroll around the gardens of Lourensford Wine Estate

Lourensford Wine Estate  with a mountainous backdrop, not only has excellent wines and wine tasting, a super restaurant and a very good coffee shop but also has a beautiful    indigenous garden.  On our last visit in November last year I noticed quite a lot of new plantings of borders and beds.  Just a few months later and despite the drought it looks fabulous!!  I am still to complete my November posts !!!!!   Lourensford’s Saturday market is included in those posts

In the meantime …. under large shady trees at The Coffee Roastery Co..with my UK cousins Gavin and Kathy

I love all the indigenous trees …

How disappointing ..  I’ve realised now that I should have taken a lot more photographs of the gardens

I do like this statue.  Gives one a feeling of freedom .. opening up the heart space (as in yoga 😉 )

The statue and extra large bean bag is outside ‘Life Retreat’, a Health Spa and shop filled with all sorts of interesting things ..

Driving out of the estate … the magnificent Helderberg Mountains and Lourensford vines (cellphone pic) ….

Our next stop was intended to be wine tasting and lunch at Idiom Wines but they were closed for a function.  Soooo .. Ernie Els Wine Farm was our lunch stop
