Skywatch Friday :
Hubby is away at the moment so I thought I would post two photos from his trip to the Isle of Man earlier in the year. The Isle of Man, a self governing British Crown Dependency, is situated in Irish Sea between Great Britain and Ireland.
Douglas is the capital – that’s where he stayed – but didn’t have much time for sight seeing in-between work and the rain!! Wishy-washy blue sky peeped through the clouds reflecting in the bay …
Looking out towards the Irish Sea is a small castle built in the bay, the Tower of Refuge, which was built in 1832 as a refuge with a supply of fresh water and bread for sailors caught in the treacherous weather and sea …
I know it’s a little late in the day for submitting to Skywatch but I haven’t had a chance up until now 😉
