Cape weekend : our last day .. Cape Town
We woke up to a very very windy day and after a leisurely brekkie, booked out of the hotel and drove around showing Paola some of the glorious sights that Cape Town as to offer. We drove up to Signal Hill and were nearly blown over by the strong wind !!
Terry and Paola ..
Table Mountain with it’s table cloth …
Very hazy – Robben Island on the left
Terry trying to be a parachute !!! I must say, it was difficult to keep the camera steady!
The wind was really pumping in Camps Bay, where we stopped for a bite to eat before making our way to the airport …
A group of children were dancing and singing – pity about the wind .. they would have had more people stopping to watch ..
From there we said our farewells to the fairest Cape.
Back home I made spaghetti for supper and had to make Terry’s favourite .. especially for Paola to taste …… my choccie eclairs ..
…
What an incredible 12 days we had … wedding in the Midlands, game viewing in KwaZulu Natal, and wine tasting in the Cape !!
