Gliding along the canals of Venice in a gondola ..

… sipping champagne, all the while being serenaded by a duo of musicians¬† ūüôā

Enjoy the ride with us as we glide through the canals, narrow and wide, between beautiful old buildings and under bridges

I must add here, that Don and Jeanne were on their honeymoon !!!!¬†¬† He’s a very young and spritely 80 and she’s 60+ !!!!!!¬†¬†¬†A¬†beautiful love story .. they ‘found’ themselves after both spouses had passed away.¬† They were the lucky ones, naturally, ¬†to have the singer and accordion player in their gondola ūüôā

    1. Yes I agree!! It was a surreal experience. And all the stories we heard of smelly water were wrong. A little dirty in places but that’s understandable with trees versus winds, but no plastics and definitely no smell
